About The Position

The Converting Operator C position is responsible for producing a product that meets established quality guidelines. This role involves assisting the Extrusion operator and performing various machine operations and maintenance tasks. The position requires consistent attendance and a willingness to work non-standard hours, as well as the ability to manage job-related stress and foster productive workplace interactions.

Requirements

• Operator experience.
• Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
• Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

• Lead or senior operator will train operator on procedure that applies to line.
• Shadow operator “A”.
• Quality training with QC personnel.
• Packer experience preferred.

• Start Up Chill Roll Cleaning
• Performed Thread Up
• Screen Changes
• Adjust Core Alignment.
• Blade Adjustments.
• Popping Trim.
• Housekeeping.
• Wrap up removal pressure roll.
• Pack Finish Goods to Correct Procedure.
• Wrap up removal idle rollers.
• Packaging material over 5’
• Hand tools.
• Machine knowledge.
• Boxing, accounting, and weighing of scrap.
• Train packer C
• Assist packer A.
