About The Position

Operates converting equipment to produce orders according to schedule and specifications. This role involves setting up and operating various machinery, troubleshooting issues, preparing goods for shipping, and performing quality control checks. The position requires attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to work in varying temperatures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must be detailed oriented and have a sense of urgency.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must have basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple converting machinery including Band Saw, Perforator, Sealer 2000, and Sheeter.
• Troubleshoot machinery and make adjustments as needed.
• Produce orders to schedule and specification.
• Prepare goods for shipping using various equipment.
• Label finished goods and place them on pallets.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Use PPE as required.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Perform related tasks as requested by supervisor.
