About The Position

As a Finishing Operator at Central Moloney's Panama City, FL facility, you will play a critical role in ensuring that every transformer leaving the facility meets quality and performance standards. Your responsibilities will include applying finishing decals, stencils, and hardware according to engineering drawings, bills of materials, and customer requirements, serving as the final quality checkpoint before shipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week (1st shift).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including extended standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset.
  • Willingness to undergo background check, drug test, and physical.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Work in a facility with loud noise, extreme temperatures, and environmental stressors.
  • Sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, crouch, reach, and grasp as needed.
  • Wear the required PPE, including eye and hearing protection, gloves, and safety toe footwear.
  • Manual dexterity and specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment).
  • Stamina to stand for long shifts.
  • Effective communication skills.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • 1-year previous experience in quality control/inspection or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or related role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Apply finishing decals, stencils, and hardware to transformers in accordance with engineering drawings, bills of materials, and customer specifications.
  • Paint semi-conductive coating, apply epoxy shields and patching.
  • Perform sawing, cleaning, degating, drilling, and deflashing operations.
  • Inspect completed products to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards before shipping.
  • Pack parts for shipment and construct shipping crates as needed.
  • Record production data and operational information accurately.
  • Follow written process procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area at all times.
  • Support the team in meeting daily production goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
