About The Position

Arclin USA is hiring an entry-level, full-time Converter/Slitting Operator at its Hayward, Wisconsin location. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the role performs tasks related to processing resins for specialty paper coating and reworking and converting finished materials to meet customer requirements. The operator performs assigned production department functions in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies and procedures, helping maintain an efficient and safe operation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to become forklift certified; on-site fork truck training and certification are provided.
• Analytical and mechanical mindset.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently.
• Ability to lift an average of 50 pounds occasionally.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Rework and convert finished materials to meet customer requirements.
• Operate a forklift or clamp truck to handle raw materials, finished goods, and production waste.
• Perform duties to meet production and shipping schedules.
• Participate in plant activities that support safe operations.
• Visually monitor processes within the assigned area and promptly correct deviations.
• Respond to process alarms and upsets and address their root causes.
• Perform in-process checks to verify production and quality specifications.
• Communicate with the Shift Supervisor, Technical staff, and other support personnel to resolve conditions affecting safety, quality, efficiency, and production goals.
• Provide backup support for treater production tasks when converter work is available.
