Controls Technician (BAS/BMS)
About The Position
HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Controls Technician to program, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS). The role includes providing system support through backups, database maintenance, and software updates, as well as diagnosing and resolving issues involving HVAC controls, building automation systems, and connected devices. HTS is the largest independent commercial HVAC manufacturers’ representative in North America, with 20 locations in the US and Canada. Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC control systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, control circuits, low-voltage wiring, and IP-based networks.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and diagnostic testing equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with BAS platforms such as Schneider, Tridium, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or Trane.
