This role is for a Controls Technician on the 2nd shift. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical/electronic systems, including PCs and PLCs, and related machine issues. This includes downloading new software as needed to PCs. The technician will also assist team members with electrical maintenance, changes, and repairs of all equipment, buildings, tools, and machines. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting refrigeration and air conditioning systems for plant and process utilities, as well as maintaining robots, intelligent actuators, and touch screens. The technician will analyze electrical failures for trends and implement preventative measures, ensure proper use of PPE, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and follow EMS/QMS procedures. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
