Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Computer Engineering, or equivalent engineering qualifications.
• 8+ years of industrial automation experience.
• 5+ years of proven hands-on Ignition development experience architecting enterprise-scale Ignition deployments.
• Experience leading multi-site SCADA implementations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to lead technical conversations with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Comfortable mentoring and guiding engineers.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably supporting material handling, warehouse automation, manufacturing, or distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-scale Ignition solutions utilizing Perspective, Vision, Tag Providers, Gateway Networks, and Enterprise Administration Modules.
• Design dashboards, operational KPIs, system monitoring, diagnostics, and reporting solutions.
• Develop reusable templates, UDTs, scripting libraries, and application frameworks.
• Implement alarm management, notification systems, user management, and audit functionality.
• Configure and maintain Ignition Historian and reporting modules.
• Integrate Ignition with AB PLCs, Siemens PLCs, OPC-UA Servers, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL databases, WES/WCS platforms, REST APIs, MQTT architectures, Third-party equipment providers.
• Develop bi-directional communication between operational technology (OT) and enterprise systems.
• Lead, perform and troubleshoot Ignition-related commissioning and startup activities.
• Integration & Cross-Discipline Collaboration
