About The Position

This position is an entry-level role focused on implementing and maintaining automated industrial controls systems. It requires a solid understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC), human-machine interfaces (HMI), sensors, motors, pneumatics, and electrical design. The role involves company-wide interaction with engineering, service teams, vendors, and customers. The ideal candidate will possess critical thinking skills, self-management abilities, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Rockwell Automation platforms and applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic understanding of industrial automation systems and controls
  • Minimum of 2+ years of PLC programming experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or exposure to: Rockwell Studio 5000
  • Experience or exposure to: FactoryTalk View ME
  • Experience or exposure to: Web server component configurations
  • Experience or exposure to: Firmware installations
  • Four-year technical degree preferred
  • Familiarity with Rockwell Automation applications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Configure and implement existing control software for assigned projects
  • Support ongoing development of control software, sensors, motors, and electrical designs
  • Communicate with sales, service teams, and customers regarding projects, accessories, repairs, and technical support
  • Maintain and organize software archives
  • Document and archive new device and configuration changes
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving field or customer-reported issues as needed
  • Travel may exceed 25%
  • Other duties as assigned.
