About The Position
This position, Engineer I, Controls, involves programming automation and control systems. The role requires creating, monitoring, and modifying logic for program design, simulation, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include manipulating servo motors and robots using PLCs, implementing networking with CC-Link and SSCNET III, and integrating/implementing manufacturing production systems. The engineer will also be responsible for maintaining the worksite according to 5S3R standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
- One year of experience as a Controls Technician in a lithium-ion battery manufacturing environment
- Experience monitoring PLC Controller and PLC programs using inspection logic
- Experience with root cause analysis
- Experience installing/maintaining/troubleshooting relay logic/inspection flow/control components
- Experience troubleshooting I/O boards
- Experience collaborating with vendors
- Experience with Mitsubishi PLC Works
- Experience with GP-Pro Face
- Experience with GT Designer3
