Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Controls Electrician at our manufacturing facility in Red Bluff, CA.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency.
  • Electrical certification.
  • 3 years of progressive and related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Office.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key deadlines.
  • Must be team-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes analytical skills to examine and improve processes in order to improve productivity.
  • Leads integration projects and works on automation equipment for optimal efficiencies.
  • Coordination of technical automated manufacturing related activities that support the Company’s strategic goals and objectives, including such activities as: automation fixture repair and maintenance, training, coaching, and implementing safety features and safety training for automation fixtures.
  • Works closely with other departments and external parties to create and implement processes to increase the plant’s overall efficiency.
  • Work with PLC-based control systems for an automated packaging line.
  • Revision control process for PLC programs.
  • Generate electrical drawing packages.
  • Control Circuit, wiring, troubleshooting, and construction.
  • Configure software to enable IIoT data collection.
  • Develop simple dashboard and display using data historian software.
  • Troubleshooting skills with High-Voltage systems up to 480 Volt 3-phase and 500 volts D-C.
  • Troubleshooting skills with Low-Voltage control circuits.
  • Test equipment operation including Digital multi-meters and Amp meters.
  • Schematic reading and basic electrical symbol identification, including ability to interpret specifications.
  • Electrical theory including basic OHMs law applications.
