They’re looking for a Corporate Controller who is way more than just a month-end "book closer". The Scrappy Leader: You’re a CPA with a mix of Public and Private accounting experience. You have the board-level strategic mindset to steer high-level finance, but you’re also humble enough to roll up your sleeves, jump into the weeds, and support your team when duty calls. The Growth Partner: You don't just hand over reports; you bring actionable recommendations, spot operational efficiencies, and build solutions for scale. The Multi-Entity Master: You know how to bring structure and clarity to complex operations with multiple business units and brand divisions. The Food & CPG Fanatic: You thrive in food manufacturing, CPG, or restaurant/hospitality environments. You understand supply chain nuances, inventory, and margin strategy. What You’ll Be Doing Lead & Mentor: Coach and inspire a talented team of assistant divisional controllers, building shared standards across multiple business lines. Drive Financial Operations: Oversee month-end close, GL, AR/AP, cash flow management, tax, and annual audit processes. Strategic Partnering: Work closely with cross-functional operational leaders, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial stewardship. Systems Transformation: Play a pivotal, high-visibility role in an upcoming ERP migration, ensuring accounting needs are represented in system design and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Accounting + CPA and Public/Private mix strongly preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience.
  • Strong background in food manufacturing, CPG, or multi-unit concepts.
  • Hands-on experience navigating ERP systems or leading an ERP transformation.
  • Ability to work onsite in Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities
