About The Position

Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, financial analysis and cost areas. He/she also has primary responsibility for initiating and implementing new projects that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department.

Requirements

• A degree from a recognized college or university with a major either in accounting or in business administration with a minor in accounting.
• A minimum of one year on-the-job training is required before full assumption of duties.

Nice To Haves

• CPA designation preferred
• MBA designation preferred
• Knowledge of computer systems is preferable
• Previous experience in the accounting or bookkeeping field
• Advanced knowledge of general finance or healthcare financial management is preferred.
