About The Position

As our Controller, you will oversee PDT’s accounting operations and help ensure our financial information is accurate, timely, and useful. You will lead the accounting team and support essential functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger activity, reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and tax compliance. You will also help maintain strong internal controls and provide financial insight that supports the long-term health and direction of the company. Because we are a manufacturing organization, this position goes beyond traditional accounting. You will work closely with our production and operations teams on cost accounting, inventory, work in process, labor and overhead absorption, margin analysis, and financial reporting. You will also help maintain the integrity of information within our ERP system and develop processes and controls that improve financial accuracy and efficiency across the organization. Individuals who enjoy this position are those who appreciate both the precision of accounting and the opportunity to see how financial information connects to real-world manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative. This role also requires someone who can communicate financial information clearly and contribute to strategic planning alongside company leadership.
