About The Position

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking an experienced Controller to join their Finance team. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will oversee the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, payroll, accounts payable, fixed assets, cash management, audits, regulatory reporting, and financial compliance. The position also involves supporting budgeting, strategic planning, process improvement, and leadership development. The ideal candidate will be a trusted financial partner who can strengthen systems, support leaders, and ensure the long-term financial health of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• Five years of progressively responsible accounting leadership experience required
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
• Healthcare accounting or hospital finance experience preferred
• Experience with governmental accounting preferred
• Experience with Medicare Cost Reports preferred
• Experience with external audits preferred
• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred
