Overview of the role: WorkTango, a subsidiary of BI WORLDWIDE, is an important part of our global team. We are seeking a Controller to join our organization and contribute to the ongoing success of WorkTango. This role is based at our Minneapolis-area headquarters and offers a hybrid work environment, with three days in the office and two days working remotely each week. Reporting to the CEO, the Controller leads the company’s Accounting and financial operations function, with responsibility for financial reporting, technical accounting, internal controls, audit and tax, treasury, and day-to-day financial governance. The Controller is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial reporting and compliance with GAAP, while providing technical accounting expertise and senior-level review and oversight of the Accounting function. This role serves as the primary escalation point for non-standard transactions and accounting judgments and manages a team of two. The Controller will work closely with the parent company’s Finance team, including a dedicated lead budget resource responsible for forecasting, planning, and financial analysis. The Controller is responsible for financial reporting to the Board and parent company and special requests from time to time.
