Controller

Aston Carter•Miami, FL
•$120,000 - $120,000•Onsite

About The Position

The Controller is a hands-on accounting leadership role responsible for month-end reporting, multi-entity accounting, internal controls, joint venture accounting, and audit activities for a complex, multi-location organization. The role owns the monthly accounting cadence and ensures financial reporting is complete, accurate, well-supported, and delivered consistently across approximately 12 entities and multiple domestic and international locations. It assumes accounting responsibilities currently handled at the senior finance leadership level, allowing leadership to focus on broader strategic finance initiatives. The Controller works closely with senior finance leadership to improve processes, strengthen controls, enhance reporting accuracy, and increase close efficiency. The role collaborates with operating teams, joint venture partners, and an India-based accounting support function, and provides oversight of offshore/shared-services accounting work. It supports investor and joint venture reporting, external audits, and accounting and compliance requirements for significant investments and complex ownership structures. This is a permanent, full-time, fully onsite position based in Miami, Florida. The position follows a standard accounting and finance schedule, with heightened deadline sensitivity around month-end, quarter-end, and audit periods. Compensation is $120,000 per year. Benefits listed include health and dental insurance, paid holidays, sick days, vacation/PTO, and employee discounts.
