Requirements

  • Expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements and budgets.
  • Proficiency in cash flow forecasting, accounts receivable, and payable processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum 3-5 years proven experience in Controller or Senior Management role
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP standards.
  • Expertise in month-end close processes and journal entries.
  • Experience with internal controls and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Excellent leadership skills to manage and supervise accounting teams effectively.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to compile and analyze complex financial data accurately.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
  • Lead support work for annual financial statement audit and support needs for tax advisors.
  • Maintain accurate inventory valuation. Oversee cycle counts and year-end physical inventory.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget/forecast and provide variance analysis.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting. Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
  • Monitor credit risk, customer payment performance, and collections strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize ERP/system workflows relating to purchasing, inventory, and sales.
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes.
  • Lead improvements in reporting, data accuracy, and financial visibility across the organization.
  • Supervise accounting team of 6 (AP, AR, Payroll, Billing and General Accountant).
  • Provide financial insights to executive leadership for strategic decisions.
