About The Position

An established and growing organization is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting and finance function for a business approaching $100M in annual revenue. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for building and developing the accounting team while partnering with executive leadership to support continued growth. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys building teams, improving processes, and helping a growing organization scale.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
Experience leading and developing accounting teams.
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
Advanced Excel skills.
ERP/accounting system experience.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing, industrial, fabrication, or project-based accounting environments.
Exposure to job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) accounting, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and standard costing.
Experience supporting organizations with revenues approaching or exceeding $100M.

Responsibilities

Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities.
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team.
Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Prepare accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting.
Develop and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.
Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insight and support strategic business decisions.
Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and relationships with external auditors and banking partners.
Evaluate systems and processes to improve efficiency as the company continues to grow.
Collaborate closely with operations to support overall business performance.
