The Controller is responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the association's financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal control environment. This role leads the accounting function in accordance with U.S. GAAP, Farm Credit Administration (FCA) regulations, and Farm Credit System (FCS) reporting standards, and serves as a key business partner to the CFO on financial strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance. The Controller oversees the general ledger, financial statement preparation, allowance for credit losses (ACL) methodology, and the association's system of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR). Has considerable latitude for decision making in the planning and accomplishment of association goals.
