Controller

FloodGate MedicalTampa, FL
Hybrid

About The Position

We're bringing our controller function fully in-house as our long-time external controller retires. This role owns the complete accounting cycle, payroll, treasury, budgeting, tax compliance, and financial reporting across multiple entities, serving as the company's primary financial partner to ownership and leadership. You'll work closely with our external CPA firm, banks, insurance providers, and vendors to maintain strong financial controls as we grow. This is a true Controller seat — full ownership of the financial function — without needing a CPA license.

  • QuickBooks required; multi-entity experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, payroll, AP/AR, budgeting, and financial reporting, including multi-state payroll/tax compliance
