About The Position
The Controller manages accounting and financial policies, procedures, and practices to ensure adequate control, recording, reporting, and analysis of the company’s business transactions, operating results, assets, and liabilities. The role analyzes trends for management and administers planning and budgeting systems, as well as general and cost accounting functions in a plant. The position is part of Magna Exteriors, whose portfolio includes automotive exterior products such as access systems, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules, fascia, active aerodynamic systems, and lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck, and industrial markets.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounting and financial policies, procedures, and practices.
- Ensure adequate control, recording, reporting, and analysis of business transactions, operating results, assets, and liabilities.
- Analyze trends and report findings to management.
- Administer planning and budgeting systems.
- Administer plant general and cost accounting functions.
