Requirements

Background in hospitality accounting
Bachelor's degree in a related area
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong organizational skills
2+ years of prior experience in a club environment or hospitality-related industry in accounting or finance
Supervisory experience

Nice To Haves

5+ years of accounting experience in a private club
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
Proficiency in Jonas or related software
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive (CHAE)

Responsibilities

Supervising the accounting functions, ensuring their accuracy and efficiency.
Providing valuable assistance on strategic matters such as budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, and internal control.
Developing and implementing policies to control and coordinate accounting, auditing, budgets, taxes, and related activities.
Establishing procedures that streamline financial processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Evaluating operational results and finding potential areas for increased profitability.
Guiding decision-making and helping shape the future direction of the club.
Collaborating with key stakeholders as the liaison to the finance committee.
Hiring and supervising staff to ensure the smooth functioning of the department.
