About The Position
The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, including financial reporting, managing the full financial close process, and leading a high-performing accounting team. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical and communication skills, and experience in financial leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
- At least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role (Controller, Assistant Controller, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience managing the full financial close
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams
Nice To Haves
- Public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL)
- Prior experience implementing an ERP system a plus
- Experience in a private equity-backed company a plus
- Bi-Lingual a plus
