About The Position

The Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, audit, budgeting, and internal control functions for the property. This position ensures compliance with gaming regulations, company policies, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and applicable state and federal laws. The Controller partners closely with operational leaders to provide financial analysis, support strategic decision-making, safeguard company assets, and maintain the integrity of all financial records. The Controller leads the accounting team and is accountable for general ledger management, revenue reconciliation, gaming and non-gaming financial reporting, cash controls, accounts payable, payroll coordination, fixed assets, tax compliance, forecasting, and annual budgeting processes. The role works collaboratively with internal and external auditors, gaming regulators, and corporate finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and operational excellence.

Requirements

Experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, budgeting, and internal controls.
Knowledge of gaming regulations, company policies, GAAP, and applicable state and federal laws.
Ability to provide financial analysis and support strategic decision-making.
Skills in safeguarding company assets and maintaining financial record integrity.
Leadership experience for an accounting team.
