About The Position

Manage and support accounting teams while providing information, primarily financial in nature, about all company activities that will assist management in making educated economic decisions about the company's future.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 5 years or more of related experience required.
• Experience with General Ledger software.
• Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and written.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
• Leadership and team management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Managing accounting teams across various business units and providing support to the director of accounting.
• Overseeing the activities of the accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits, and annual budgets.
• Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, cash control, and corporate payroll tax compliance.
• Overseeing the activities of accounts receivables to ensure the accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts application, etc.
• Establishing and maintaining systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value.
• Assisting in the implementation of new accounting process and technology initiatives.
• Providing accurate and timely work to facilitate financial needs.
• Participating in a wide variety of special projects and compiling a variety of special reports.
• Communicating with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
• Conforming with and abiding by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
