About The Position

Works with other installers and independently, in the completion of installs and service calls. Requires excellent communication skills, self-motivation, task-driven attitude, and the ability to apply “best practices” theory. This role demands excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to create and execute in-field solutions, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Some travel is required.

Requirements

1-3 years experience in Control4 programming and system setup
Control4 certification preferred
1-3 years experience installing, calibrating, whole house audio/video, home theaters, surround sound systems
High level of customer interaction - Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
Ability to work on rotating “on-call” service schedule
Clean driving record and background check
Minimum of 3 years of field experience

Nice To Haves

3-5 years experience in security systems: wiring, setup, programming, troubleshooting, setup monitoring services (Honeywell, DSC)
3-5 years experience in CCTV systems: wiring, design, setup, troubleshooting
3-5 years experience in structure wiring: cabling, terminations, testing

Responsibilities

Complete complex audio/video installs, setup, and calibration with Control4 programming
Advanced troubleshooting of simple and complex systems
Advanced networking/data system design, installation, and setup
Complete programming of Control4 systems, including integrations
Support of third-party products and systems
Install and setup of shades, LED lighting, landscape lighting, etc
