About The Position

GCEFCU is seeking a Programmer to join its IT team. This role involves creating smart, efficient solutions to support the credit union's growing digital future. The position is located at the Pasadena office, with hours that may vary as needed.

• Automation systems (such as, Episys, OpConXPS, SynergySynapsys, ImageCenter by ProfitStars, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy new and modified applications, utilizing PowerOn, .NET, SQL, and scripting tools to enhance credit union operations.
• Develop and maintain PowerOn scripts, batch jobs, and reports within the Symitar (EASE) core, working with business units to translate requests into reliable code.
• Build and support integrations between Symitar and third-party systems such as online banking and loan origination platforms.
• Identify manual processes that can be automated and create scheduled scripts and data extracts to improve staff efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve errors, and support testing and deployment for new development efforts.
• Follow secure coding practices and ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations including BSA, Patriot Act, and OFAC.
• Work closely with IT staff, business units, and vendors, and document development changes and workflows.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
