Engineer III, Control Systems

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.•Lake Mary, FL

About The Position

The Control Systems Engineer III develops engineering designs, performs engineering reviews, and configures, tests, and troubleshoots control systems for Mitsubishi Power projects in the Americas. The role works with limited supervision to meet code, contract, and schedule requirements, contribute to design improvements, and provide effective technical solutions across projects. It primarily supports control systems for large-frame industrial gas turbines operating in simple-cycle and/or combined-cycle configurations with steam turbines; the scope may also include other plant control systems. The position also provides customer training and remote and on-site technical support. Responsibilities span control system design and documentation, vendor and manufacturing support, factory testing, field installation and integration, commissioning, operations support, and troubleshooting. Overnight travel by land and/or air is required at least 10% of the time.
