Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must possess general computer skills
• Must be able to comprehend complex operating systems.
• Must be able to wear harness type fall protection and work at heights.
• Must have basic knowledge in reading, writing and arithmetic.
• Must be able to make critical decisions.
• Must be able to see visual monitors and text clearly.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs while wearing fall protection.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with subsequent operations and coworkers.
• Must be able to navigate way to bays, walking on beams.
• Must be able to grasp boards when clearing jams.
• Must be able to wear proper personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Bay Let-down operations
• Run diverter test prior to shift startup.
• Communicates with Stacker relaying lumber information.
• Prints out information for Bay Let-down associates.
• Run system diagnostics on Sorter.
• Assist Bay Let-down operations.
