About The Position

Assist in preparing subpanels and enclosures for Control Panel Technician. Fabricate enclosures in preparation for mounting and wiring.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks
• Skilled in following dimensional drawings and using measuring devices
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership
• Capable of working some overtime as business needs and schedules dictate
• Must be very detailed oriented and strive to achieve high quality work
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize and follow written procedures
• Professionalism with a positive attitude to contribute as a team member

Responsibilities

• Dimension and layout of subpanels and enclosures
• Drill and cut mounting holes for electrical components
• Cut and mount DIN and wiring duct to subpanels
• Mounting of components to subpanels and enclosures
• Maintain red-line drawings of required changes found during fabrication
• Communicate red-line changes to Engineers or Leaders for incorporation before completion
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• High standard of quality and attention to detail
• Able to keep a clean and organized work environment
• Ability to monitor and track inventory components, alerting Leaders of needs before reaching a critical level
• Perform other duties in heat exchanger production as assigned or as needed
