About The Position

This role involves ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures related to contracts. The Contracts Specialist will collaborate with internal departments, manage contract communications, maintain an inventory of contracts, and track important dates. The position also includes previewing contracts, assigning tags, and working with the Contracts Manager to meet deadlines. Additionally, the specialist will assist in configuring and deploying CLM platform enhancements, documenting workflow inefficiencies, and addressing deficits in the contracts inventory. Reporting on contract status to the supervisor and assisting the Contracts Manager with modifications and legal reviews are also key responsibilities. The role requires documenting and supporting intermediate negotiation stages. Please note that this role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship/assistance at this time.

Requirements

  • Experience in contract management
  • Familiarity with CLM platforms
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Understanding of contract indexing and tagging

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and methodologies relative to contracts
  • Collaborate with other internal departments to gather information
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders via email and telephone
  • Manage contract communications; Document and track status; Maintain working queue of items in process
  • Assemble, manage and maintain contracts inventory and reminder dates
  • Preview contracts, assign indexing tags, and track as needed
  • Work with Contracts Manager to meet contract review and execution deadlines
  • Work with project manager to configure and deploy CLM platform enhancements
  • Document workflow inefficiencies, bottlenecks and other challenges in the contracts process
  • Work with Product Managers to address deficits or deficiencies in documented contracts inventory
  • Report timely and regularly the status of all Contracts to supervisor
  • Assist the Contracts Manager with minor modifications, and/or submit for review to legal
  • Document and support intermediate negotiation stages
