This role participates in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements in the purchase or sale/delivery of equipment, materials, products or services. It evaluates contract compliance and advises others on contractual rights and obligations. The role may request or approve amendments to contract terms or contract extensions. It also prepares bids or requests for proposals (RFPs), including specifications and requirements, negotiates contract terms and participates in the determination of acceptable bids.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Performs administrative functions for the contracts administration function.
  • Prepares contracts and general correspondence.
  • Conducts fact-finding and data collection to prepare contracts.
  • Maintains and organizes contract document files or database in required format.
  • Coordinates efficient phone, e-mail, and written communications.
