About The Position

This Contracts Manager 1 position in Nashua, NH is a hybrid position that supports the Eagle Passive Active Warning Survivability System (EPAWSS) program, which provides critical electronic warfare (EW) capabilities for the F-15 Strike Eagle and F-15EX Eagle II aircraft. The selected candidate will serve as an individual contributor to support a large proposal effort in a unique time during acquisition reform. The position requires developing and maintaining professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers as well as leading complex contracting assignments. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active SECRET Security clearance
  • 8+ years relevant work experience or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office software with an emphasis on Excel
  • FAR/DFAR knowledge and experience, including FAR Part 12
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel and customers
  • Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents
  • Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable federal laws and regulations
  • Demonstrate research and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of federal procurement regulations, export compliance, with an emphasis of Department of Defense.
  • Broad knowledge of economics, accounting, finance, procurement, cost/schedule control systems, business law, and the ITAR
  • Proven ability to negotiate and persuade, to communicate orally and in writing at all levels
  • Ability to plan and organize work
  • Potential to develop and lead professional and support personnel
