About The Position

Leidos is seeking a visionary Director of Contracts to drive our Mission Solutions Business Area within the Intel Sector. As Director of Contracts, you'll be at the strategic heart of our organization, orchestrating complex relationships that directly support our nation's intelligence community. You'll lead a dynamic team of contracts professionals while partnering with senior executives, government officials, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that protect and advance national security interests. Reporting to the Sector Vice President of Contracts & Supply Chain, you'll serve as the primary strategic advisor to our Business Area leadership while managing both talent and budget across the organization. This role involves relationship building, risk mitigation, and strategic partnership development at the highest levels.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience, or Master's with 10+ years
Deep knowledge of government contracts, subcontracts, and proposal support
Minimum 4 years of team leadership experience with proven ability to develop talent
Expert-level skills in complex terms and conditions negotiations
Working expertise in FAR/DFAR, OTAs, CRADAs, and commercial agreements
Active Top Secret/SCI with polygraph required

Formal contracting certifications
Large capture team leadership experience
AI implementation experience in contract processes
Government or corporate procurement background

Responsibilities

Build and maintain key partnerships within the Intelligence Community
Lead recruitment, career development, and performance management for your contracts organization
Drive compliance with FAR, DFAR, and other regulatory requirements while implementing cutting-edge solutions
Collaborate with functional leads to resolve complex contractual challenges
Deliver results in proposal win-rates, cost savings, compliance, and risk management
