About The Position
The Contracts Director role at Adams Communication & Engineering Technology, Inc. is a principal leadership position overseeing contract management for National Security and government accounts, requiring 5+ years of experience, TS/SCI clearance, and expertise in FAR/DFARS compliance. Requirements
- 5+ years in contracts management, including leading large, geographically dispersed contracting organizations.
- Experience with multiple government agencies, FAR Part 15 and Part 12 contracting, and intelligence community work.
- Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and U.S. government procurement.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to sell and buy IT products (software, SaaS, cloud).
- Must be US Citizen to apply.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a contracting team, aligning capabilities with business objectives and client needs.
- Oversee opportunities, proposals, negotiations, execution, and closeout, ensuring compliance with federal regulations (FAR, DFARS) and corporate policies.
- Apply enterprise risk management solutions, mitigate organizational conflict of interest (OCI) issues, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide expert advice to senior leadership, program managers, and contracting officers on contractual and procurement matters.
- Drive initiatives such as data rights management and process improvements to enhance operational performance.
- Work with legal, program, and client teams to support complex programmatic matters.
