About The Position

The Contracts Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing and summarizing contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements. This role supports internal teams during contract negotiations, drafts and maintains legal documents, and conducts research on construction-related legal and compliance topics. The coordinator will prepare reports on risk exposure, contract status, and compliance tracking, and maintain clear documentation for all contracts. Additionally, the position involves performing audits, monitoring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements, and assisting with investigations. Ensuring vendor compliance, including verification of COI and W9, is crucial. The role requires keeping supervisors and stakeholders informed of legal and contract activity, managing the contract life-cycle, and partnering with other departments on legal and compliance matters. Professional communication with internal and external parties is essential. This position is strictly on-site.

Requirements

  • Experience in reviewing and summarizing contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Review and summarize contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements.
  • Support internal teams during contract negotiations.
  • Draft and maintain legal documents, correspondence, and other forms as necessary.
  • Conduct research on construction-related legal and compliance topics.
  • Prepare reports related to risk exposure, contract status, and compliance tracking.
  • Maintain clear documentation for all active and archived contracts and case records.
  • Perform audits as needed for, including but not limited to, credit card usage, fleet, etc.
  • Monitor compliance pertaining to internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist with investigations involving legal, contract, and other company matters.
  • Ensure all vendors are in compliance, including verification of COI, W9, etc.
  • Maintain supervisor and other stakeholders up to date on all legal and contract activity.
  • Manage all aspects of the contract life-cycle and proactively update supervisor.
  • Partner with other departments in legal and compliance matters.
  • Communicate with internal and external parties in a professional and courteous manner.
