About The Position

McCORD'S Do it Best in Logansport, Indiana, is hiring a Contractor Sales Manager to serve homeowners and contractors by providing efficient service. The role involves supporting contractor sales, estimates, orders, and deliveries while helping improve sales and overall business results. The position is full-time, in person, and requires a 45-hour work week, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekends may be needed; nights are not scheduled. The salary range is $65,000–$77,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

Driver's license required.
Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Logansport, Indiana, required.
Sales experience of 3–5 years preferred.
Experience in sales and/or the construction field preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain extensive knowledge of building materials and construction.
Read and work with blueprints and construction design layouts.
Use a computer to prepare sales estimates, orders, and purchase orders.

Communicate with contractors about estimates, orders, and delivery arrangements.
Communicate with coworkers to coordinate orders and deliveries.
Work toward sales and business goals.
Use organization and time-management skills to work efficiently with contractors and customers.
Develop relationships with contractors and customers to maintain their trust in the business.
