About The Position

Making sales calls and present to Solar and Green Industry Contractors on a regular basis to develop a long-term relationship. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with Contractors in the designated area, handling issues between Contractors and ICCU professionally, and providing meaningful data analysis of the market and environment around Solar Lending and other Green Lending industries. The officer will report on the success of their Contractors and their efforts to grow business with them, work closely with the buy center to communicate specials and staffing changes at Contractor organizations, and research, develop, and onboard new Contractors. A key responsibility is to maintain market share and develop reporting and tracking to maintain a solid Solar portfolio. The role also includes assisting other Business Development team members when needed and performing periodic drive-by equipment checks on installed projects by Contractors.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills which include presentation and sales experience.
  • 3-5 years with 1-2 year lending experience.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Credit Union service/product knowledge.
  • Independent, self-directed worker.
  • Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.
  • Must be eligible for membership at ICCU to obtain employment.
  • Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
  • Adequate auto insurance for driving while conducting company business.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in marketing or related field.
  • General knowledge of solar, roofing and HVAC industry preferred.

Responsibilities
