Contractor License Qualifier Construction Contractor License Qualifying Party: Key Responsibilities The Construction License Qualifying Party (QP) is responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance with contractor licensing requirements in Nevada and North Carolina. This role provides oversight of Solar's Contractor licensing requirements and adherence to applicable laws, codes, and industry standards, and serves as the official licensed representative for the organization. This role reports to the Area Manager for Solar Turbines Business Management for Construction Services Projects in Houston, TX.

Requirements

  • Valid Class B General Building Contractor License in the State of Nevada.
  • Valid General Contractor License – Building Classification in North Carolina.
  • Demonstrated experience in construction management, supervision, or contracting.
  • Strong knowledge of construction codes, safety regulations, and compliance.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects and ensure adherence to licensing standards.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Other State Contractor Licenses is a plus.
  • Available for remote work

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the designated Qualifying Party for company contractor licenses.
  • Ensure compliance with Nevada State Contractors Board (NSCB) and North Carolina State Contractor Licensing Board requirements.
  • Provide oversight of construction practices, safety standards, and code compliance.
  • Assure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain all licensing documentation, renewals, and audit readiness.
  • Act as liaison with regulatory agencies and inspectors.
  • Support project teams with technical and compliance expertise as needed.
