About The Position

AIT Home Delivery, a division of AIT Worldwide Logistics, is seeking contractors for assembly and installation of outdoor products in the Lansing, MI area. This contract role offers the potential to earn between $40,000 and $100,000+ annually, with weekly settlements based on accepted contract work. Contractors will be offered various types of work and can choose which projects to accept. Most assembly and installation jobs require a qualified helper, forming two-man teams.

Requirements

Sufficient vehicle for the work being performed.
Reliable helper; two-man teams required.
Ownership of hand and power tools.
Experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications.
Possession of an EIN (federal tax ID).
Compliance with insurance and vehicle registration requirements.
Compliance with state laws for the vehicle being used.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Tech savvy with a mobile phone.
Excellent communication skills.
Willingness to undergo background and drug screens (for contractor and helper).
Willingness to undergo MVR checks (for driving contractors).

Nice To Haves

Experience with concrete is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assembly of large outdoor products at customer homes, including playsets, pergolas, gazebos, resin sheds, and inground basketball hoops.
Transporting products to customer homes for basketball hoop installations, requiring a vehicle capable of such transport (pickup truck, van, or smaller box truck).
Occasional pick up and delivery of product to customer homes.
