About The Position

AIT Home Delivery, a division of AIT Worldwide Logistics, is seeking contractors for assembly and installation of outdoor products in the Bismarck, ND area. This is a contract position with the potential to earn $40K-$100K+ annually, depending on work volume and accepted contracts. Contractors will be offered various types of work and can choose which projects to accept. Most projects require a qualified helper, forming two-man teams. The available work includes the assembly of outdoor structures such as playsets, pergolas, gazebos, resin sheds, and inground basketball hoops at customer homes. Occasional pick-up and delivery of product for basketball hoops may be required, necessitating a vehicle capable of transport.

Requirements

Sufficient vehicle for the work being performed.
Reliable helper; two-man teams required.
Own hand and power tools.
Mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications.
Possess an EIN (federal tax ID).
Comply with insurance and vehicle registrations.
Comply with state laws for the vehicle being used.
Pass background and drug screens (for contractor and helper).
Pass MVR for driving contractors.
Commitment to exceptional customer service.
Tech savvy with a mobile phone.
Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with concrete is preferred.
For Basketball Installations only, a pick up truck, van, or smaller box truck is required.
DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.

Responsibilities

Assemble large outdoor products at customers' homes.
Provide reliable transportation to and from work-sites.
Pick up and deliver product to homes for basketball hoops (requires a vehicle capable of transport).
Assemble playsets, pergolas, gazebos, resin sheds, and inground basketball hoops.
