Requirements

Minimum of exposure to security protocol and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
Experience following established procedures and security protocols with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and courteous presence.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and escort personnel throughout various facility areas.
Ability to maintain a Secret security clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in security, facilities support, access control, military service, or other regulated environments.
Experience working in or around secure, restricted, or classified areas.
Familiarity with contractor monitoring, access logs, or visitor management systems.
Strong organizational skills and comfort operating in a procedural, compliance‑driven environment.
Ability to adapt to changing schedules, contractor needs, and site activity levels.

Responsibilities

Provide continuous escort and oversight of contractors, vendors, and visitors operating within secure or restricted areas.
Verify identification, badges, and authorizations to ensure compliance with access control requirements.
Monitor all escorted activity to ensure adherence to facility security procedures, safety rules, and prohibited‑items policies.
Maintain accurate logs of escorted personnel, locations, and work durations.
Coordinate with Facilities, Security, and project leads to support scheduled contractor activity and ensure timely access.
Report any security concerns, unusual activity, or procedural violations according to established protocols.
Support general facility security functions as assigned.
