Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Medical Degree (MD or DO).
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Obesity Medicine, or a related specialty.
- Active state medical licenses (Providers with multiple state licenses are highly preferred, as Eden serves patients in all 50 states).
- Active DEA registration.
- Excellent digital bedside manner and strong written communication skills for asynchronous and message-based patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Clinical experience in weight management, metabolic health, or peptide therapy is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review comprehensive patient intake forms, medical histories, and baseline metabolic lab markers to determine eligibility for treatment.
- Prescribe FDA-approved GLP-1 medications, compounded semaglutide, or other peptide therapies when clinically appropriate.
- Utilize patient data to create individualized dosing and titration schedules that maximize efficacy while minimizing side effects like nausea or fatigue.
- Conduct virtual follow-ups to monitor medication tolerance, track weight loss and metabolic progress, and adjust treatment plans as patient needs evolve.
- Maintain strict adherence to all state and federal telemedicine regulations, FDA guidelines, and standard prescribing laws.
