The Contract Support Specialist is responsible for processing interim payments, payment adjustments, contract modifications, and time adjustments for contractors on publicly funded construction contracts. This role requires certification of the final payment amount, tracking and ensuring the acceptability of construction materials, and maintaining proper supporting documentation for all payment items. The position demands a high level of attentiveness, punctuality, dependability, organization, and complex computer skills. A general knowledge of construction terminology and contract language interpretation is also necessary.
