About The Position

The Contract Support Officer will be part of the Contracting Team, supporting the management of a portfolio of NHS and non-NHS contracts. The post holder will provide efficient and effective administrative and project support, helping to coordinate contract activities, maintain contract management systems, support governance processes, and contribute to the delivery of key contractual and financial objectives. The role will involve working with internal and external stakeholders, supporting meetings, preparing reports and documentation, maintaining accurate contract records, and assisting with contract monitoring activities. You will also have the opportunity to become involved in-service improvement initiatives, contract implementation projects and the development of processes that support effective contract management across the organisation. The post holder will contribute to the development of innovative and efficient contract management processes, supporting the wider use of digital technologies, automation and business intelligence tools to improve service delivery, reporting, information management and administrative efficiency across the Contracting Team. The Contract Support Officer is responsible for supporting the function through efficient and effective administrative support to an aligned portfolio of contracts with NHS and non-NHS providers delivering services for the population of West Yorkshire. The post holder will also be assigned function specific responsibilities relating to contracting, support the development and implementation of improved digital ways of working, identifying opportunities to streamline administrative processes through the use of Microsoft 365 applications, automation tools and other approved technologies.
