About The Position
This role involves public procurement of goods and services, encompassing the full range of duties from selecting procurement methods and contract types to solicitation development, evaluation, and award of contracts in accordance with laws and agency policies. The position also includes contract administration, such as modifications. The role is for up to 12 months, located in Downtown Seattle, with a 40-hour work week and a hybrid work model.
Requirements
- Experience with public procurement
- Experience with moderately complex solicitations
- Good soft skills like communication, collaboration, staying organized, able to write well, and strong Word/ Excel skills
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of prevailing wage
- Knowledge of Buy America
- Experience with procurements for operations and maintenance
- Experience with procurements for professional services
