About The Position

The Government Contract Operations Specialist is responsible for coordinating and administering all phases of service contract management within the Government Contracts team, including quoting, contract review, order creation, modifications, and ongoing contract administration across federal, state, and local government customers. The greater impact of this role is to ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations, support accurate revenue recognition, maintain audit readiness, and enable a seamless customer experience through efficient and high-quality contract execution. This role works closely with Sales, Finance, and other internal stakeholders, acting as a key operational partner to ensure contract solutions are executable within ERP systems and aligned with business and customer needs. The position requires strong ownership, autonomy, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment. This role offers strong exposure to complex government contracting environments, developing deep expertise in contract lifecycle management, compliance, and ERP-driven operations. It also provides opportunities to participate in process improvements, cross-functional projects, and informal leadership through coaching and collaboration with peers.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales support, customer service, contract administration, or proposal development in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of contract lifecycle management, including quoting, compliance review, order processing, invoicing, and contract modifications.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.
  • Intermediate Excel level.
  • High School Diploma or vocational education required.
  • Proactive, highly organized, and capable of working with autonomy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset.
