Kaizen is seeking a Government Contracts Administrator to join their team. This role is crucial for managing federal agreements and ensuring compliance with government regulations. Requirements

  • Federal contracts or subcontracts administration experience on the contractor side, with responsibility for follow-through.
  • Proficiency in FAR and DFARS, and comfort with flowdown matrices and applicability thresholds.
  • Experience building a register or compliance calendar, not just working from an existing one.
  • Experience with submissions into federal systems, at minimum SAM, and PIEE or WAWF if invoicing has been part of the role.
  • Experience working on small teams and being self-directed.
  • Must be a US person, able to work with CUI.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DoD other transaction agreements.
  • Experience priming with subcontractor flowdowns.
  • NCMA certification.
  • Experience with CDRLs.
  • Experience with contract closeout.
  • An active or recently held clearance is a real plus, particularly given the clearance work.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the obligation register across every federal agreement, and keep it current through mods.
  • Run the compliance calendar, including training deadlines and certificates back to the AOR, notices and postings, and annual filings like VETS-4212A.
  • Manage portal administration and submissions, including SAM for reps and certs, and PIEE and WAWF for invoicing.
  • Determine applicability of regulations, including thresholds, commercial-item carve-outs, and what applies to a company of Kaizen's size.
  • Review flowdowns on new subcontracts and agreements before signature to understand the company's obligations.
  • Own the Army training stack where applicable, including AT Level I, OPSEC, iWATCH, and ATCTS registration.
  • Route execution to People Ops, IT, and security, and maintain oversight.
  • Manage clause interpretation with outside counsel.
