About The Position

Alluvionic is seeking a Contract Specialist I to support its U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) contract in the Procurement Division (PD). The position supports USMS-PD on a range of government contracting matters and liaises with Federal employees, contractors, and divisions throughout the U.S. Marshals Service. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to undergo and pass a background investigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with at least 24 hours of business credit.
• Four years of relevant work experience, with an emphasis on contract close-outs.
• Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 8, 12, and 15.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to undergo and pass a background investigation.

Nice To Haves

• FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II certification.
• Recent experience as a Federal Contracting Officer or Specialist.
• Experience with 100% Small Business Set Aside.
• Experience with a 30-day Procurement Action Lead Time (PALT).

Responsibilities

• Conduct contract reviews and assist with cradle-to-grave contract operations.
• Manage order modifications and handle contract close-outs.
• Input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).
• Assist government contracting officers with large and small purchase contract actions.
• Review solicitation packages for completeness.
• Advise program offices and provide examples of documents to include in solicitation packages.
