About The Position

Alluvionic is seeking a Contract Specialist I to assist the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) with various government contracts. The position liaises with Federal Employees, Contractors, and Divisions throughout the USMS. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with at least 24 hours of business credit.
• Recent Federal Contracting Officer/Specialist experience.
• At least four years of related working experience demonstrating the ability to perform the stated duties and responsibilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 8, 12, and 15.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.

Nice To Haves

• FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II.

Responsibilities

• Conduct contract reviews and assist with cradle-to-grave operations, call order modifications, and close-outs.
• Input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).
• Assist Government contracting officers with large and small purchase contract actions.
• Review solicitation packages for completeness.
• Advise program offices and provide examples of documents to be included in a solicitation package.
